-
God, who disclosed Himself to mankind through His creation, has revealed Himself and His will for the salvation of men in the words and events of redemptive history as recorded in the books of the Old and New Testaments, which are the inspired and infallible, ultimately authoritative Word of God in all matters of faith and practice.

2. There is one living and true God; the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver and Ruler of the universe; infinite in being and perfection; one in essence, eternally existing in the three personalities of the Trinity : Father, Son
and Holy Spirit.

3. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin; He performed miracles, He lived a sinless life, He
redeemed us by His atoning death through the shedding of His blood. He was bodily resurrected, He
ascended to the right hand of the Father and He will personally return in power and glory.

4. The Holy Spirit is the inspirer of the Bible, the guide into its truths, the convictor of the world, the testifier to Jesus, the bringer of new life in Christ Jesus, the in-dweller of every Christian, the Creator of the likeness of
Christ in individual believers, the sovereign dispenser of gifts to and within the Church, the empowerer of
the Church’s life of worship, witness and up building and the glorifier of Jesus Christ.

5. Man was created in the image of God, after His likeness, but the whole human race fell in the fall of the first Adam. All men, until they accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, are lost, alienated from
God, spiritually dead through their trespassed and sins, subject to divine wrath, and apart from the grace
of God, are incapable of returning to Him.

6. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation
for all who believe and only those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord are born the
Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God and members of the body of Christ. This salvation is the
free gift of God’s grace.

7. The Christian is exhorted in scripture to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, to be
led by the Spirit, to manifest the fruit of the Spirit and be a witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

8. The Church is composed of those persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been
regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which Christ is the head. The
Church’s purpose is to worship God and to serve Him by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, ministering
the Word and ordinances,up building one another in love and making disciples of all nations. Every local
church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs while endeavouring to promote the
unity of the Spirit in love with all true believers in Christ.

9. God’s redemptive purpose will be consummated by the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to raise
the dead, to judge all men according to the deeds done in the body (with believers enjoying
the everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord but the unbelievers suffering judgement and eternal
separation from God’s presence), to establish His glorious Kingdom, to destroy every rule and authority and power, and to deliver the kingdom of God the Father.
